Huawei Smart PV Optimisers

Part of the next generation ‘FusionSolar’ residential smart PV solution, Huawei Smart PV Optimisers offer complete flexibility to Solar PV installers. These Huawei optimisers can be used as a full or partial solution, making use of the entire rooftop, as Solar PV panels can be placed in different orientations and inclinations.

Huawei Smart PV Optimisers improve system performance, and turn each Solar PV panel into a smart panel. Optimisers help alleviate the impacts of shading, soiling, panel mismatch, temperature difference or panel damage.

For use with the Huawei single phase L1 series of inverters, and compatible Huawei three phase M1 and M2 series. Installers can choose to install optimisers on each panel, or on a portion of the panels i.e. those affected by shading.

A fully optimised Huawei Solar PV system can also offer the following benefits:

• Module/panel level monitoring. Each panel reports back to the inverter individually via DC MBUS. Panel level data can then be accessed via the Huawei monitoring platform
• Auto-mapping in less than 90 seconds. Easily create a PV panel layout using Huawei artificial intelligence
• Long string design, and potentially lower system costs. Up to 200% DC/AC oversizing ratio i.e. Up to 10kW of PV panels on a 5KTL inverter, ideal when battery storage is added – giving 2 times the power – full 5kW AC power output plus 5kW full power battery charge
• 0V module level shutdown. 0Vdc output as default when the inverter is shutdown, grid power is off, or via an external signal control
• Pinpoint feature. Provides panel level arc fault detection, saving up to 80% of on site troubleshooting time
