At Kellihers Electrical, we are committed to providing a seamless and reliable delivery experience for all our customers. This Delivery Policy outlines the terms and conditions governing the shipping, collection, and delivery of orders placed through the Rexel | Kellihers Electrical ecommerce platform. Whether you choose to have your order shipped directly to your address or prefer to collect it from one of our 24 branches nationwide, we’ve got you covered. By placing an order, you agree to the terms set forth below, which detail our delivery options, delivery costs, and collection process.
Delivery Areas
We deliver to addresses within the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland only. International delivery and delivery to PO boxes are not available.
Delivery Method
We offer two delivery methods, please allow a minimum of 72 hours to process your order. Expect an email within 72 hours to let you know your order is on the way:
Standard Delivery – Orders are shipped directly to the address specified at checkout.
Collect in Branch – Orders can be collected from one of our 24 branches located across the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Delivery Fees and Estimates
Orders are processed and shipped Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Rexel DC in Dublin within the following timeframes:
- In Stock Items – Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 4-5 business days.
- Special Order Items – These items require procurement from suppliers and may take 10-15 business days to be dispatched.
Customers will receive a shipping confirmation email containing tracking information once their order has been dispatched or ready for collection.
Shipping costs are determined based on the type of account held by the customer and the value of the order (excluding VAT):
Guests - (Up to 5 business days)
- €10 fee for orders up to €410 in value exc VAT
- €20 fee for orders between €411 and €815 in value exc VAT
- €50 fee for orders between €816 and €2,035 in value exc VAT
- Free shipping for orders exceeding €2,036 in value exc VAT
- Oversized items incur a €150 shipping fee
- Collect in Branch orders incur a €10 administration fee
Standard Cash Account - (Up to 5 business days)
- €10 fee for orders up to €410 in value exc VAT
- €20 fee for orders between €411 and €815 in value exc VAT
- €50 fee for orders between €816 and €1,630 in value exc VAT
- Free shipping for orders exceeding €1,631 in value exc VAT
- Oversized items and Collect in Branch are free of charge
Trade Credit Account - (Up to 5 business days)
- Free shipping is available for all orders.
- Oversized items and Collect in Branch are free of charge
Delivery Issues
We are committed to ensuring your orders are delivered on time and in perfect condition. If you experience:
- Order not arrived: If your order has not arrived within the expected timeframe, we recommend checking the tracking information provided in your shipping confirmation email for updates.
- Incorrect items: If you experience any issues with your delivery, such as delays or receiving incorrect items, our dedicated web team is here to assist you. Please contact us immediately at websales@rexel.ie e or (+353) 87 612 9730, and we will work quickly to resolve the matter.
- Damaged Goods or Discrepancies: For items damaged during transit, please provide photographic evidence within 2 days of delivery when reporting the issue to ensure a swift resolution.
- Faulty items: If you suspect your item is faulty, please contact the manufacturer directly for assistance. Supplier contact details can be found under "Technical Assistance" on our website.
- Update your address or contact information: If you need to update your shipping address after placing an order, please contact us as soon as possible. However, address changes cannot be made once the order has been dispatched.
Collect in Branch Policy
Customers may choose to collect their orders from any of Kellihers Electrical’ 24 branches nationwide. Orders are typically ready for collection within 4-5 business days. Once your order is ready, you will receive a notification email. Before visiting your selected branch, please check the opening hours using our Store Locator (hyperlink) .
Process for Collect in Branch Orders
- Order Placement – Customers must select "Collect in Branch" as the delivery method during checkout and specify their preferred branch location.
- Order Collection Notification – Customers will receive an email notification once their order is ready for collection. Orders cannot be collected until this notification has been received.
- Order Collection – Customers must present a printed or digital copy of the Order Pickup Notification email and a valid photo ID matching the name on the order confirmation email.
To collect an order, customers must provide a valid photo ID that matches the name on the order confirmation email, the order confirmation email and order number.
Collection Location
Orders will be held behind the trade counter at the selected branch for x days. Customers must provide their ID, order number and Order confirmation email to a sales representative to retrieve their order.
