We are at the beginning of a demanding and ambitious ongoing approach which in due course will bring us to offer more and more sustainable products. This will only be made possible by acting together and in coordination with the whole value chain (end-users, customers, Rexel and suppliers)

The selection is based on sustainability criteria rather than price considerations. Sustainable products can sometimes - but not always - be more expensive than similar products, owing to different production methods, materials, or more costly technologies involved. These products often provide long-term benefits such as energy savings, durability, and reduced environmental impact, which means greater value and lower total cost of ownership over their lifespan.

Rexel attaches great importance to setting clear rules for the most appropriate packaging to reduce waste. The strategic initiative is being conducted in parallel with suppliers with a view to reducing packaging to just what is needed for the product's purpose.
