The ProJoy Firefighter Safety Switch ensures the safety of your solar PV system by providing rapid shutdown. While DC isolation switches are common, up to 600–1500VDC can remain between the inverter and panels even when off, posing a hazard to firefighters during a fire. ProJoy's PEFS series switch automatically turns off the isolation switch upon detecting a grid failure, adding an extra layer of protection.

This safety switch is equipped with a breathing valve to prevent condensation inside the enclosure and can be used in commercial and utility scale solar PV installations.
