The ProJoy PEFS-EL40-4 automatically disconnects the DC supply on a solar PV system when the AC grid supply is interrupted.
When installed at the point of cable entry into the premises, this switch creates a safe environment for firefighters and emergency workers.
Automatic isolation is a requirement under the National Rules For Electrical Installations in Ireland (I.S. 10101 - 2020 NSAI) and the PEFS complies with the "Emergency Isolation" conditions. It is also required as part of any SEAI grant funded installation, and as part of our own NSAI agreement certificate.
