The Toscano 10004924 COMBI-PRO-MAX-2P50 is an automatic compact backup and protection switch designed to support single-phase PV inverter backup and island operation when grid conditions are not suitable.
It combines circuit-breaker protection with temporary surge protection and automatic island-mode activation control. If a power cut, overvoltage, undervoltage or other supply anomaly is detected, it disconnects downstream loads from the mains, links the inverter neutral to earth to help ensure correct RCD operation, and sends an island-mode enable signal so essential circuits can be supplied from available solar and battery energy. When mains power returns and remains stable for the required period, the unit removes the island signal and reconnects loads to the grid. A front status LED provides clear operating indication, and an integrated selector allows forced island mode for commissioning and maintenance; after overcurrent, short-circuit or manual trip, reset is by manual handle operation.
